Darin Hancock
Director
Darin has 35 years' experience in natural resource management in the northern portions of British Columbia. He started his career in the consulting industry in Ontario, moving to BC and Alberta in the 90's, and eventually landing in Mackenzie working for a small but growing sawmilling and harvesting company. His first exposure to the MK came in the capacity of planner for that sawmill, making connections that he still holds today. His career has spanned private industry, consulting and government, most recently as Director of Natural Resource Stewardship with the Ministry of Water Land and Resource Stewardship in Fort St John. He currently holds the position of Regional Manager, Forest Resources Division with Louisiana Pacific Canada, in Fort St John and Dawson Creek. He lives in Dawson Creek.
