Stephanie Gale Killam

Stephanie Killam is a former Mayor of Mackenzie and municipal council member. In addition to the M-KMA, Ms. Killam sits as Chair of the Geoscience BC Board, Director and Chair of 3P Committee (Northern Health Board), Director and Chair of Governance Committee (Fraser Basin Council), Chair of the Autumn Lodge Society (seniors), Secretary (Minerals North Society, Vice President (Mackenzie Nature Society) and Director (Fish and Wildlife Compensation Board). Stephanie has also served as Chair, Mackenzie & District Hospital, Chair, Mackenzie Health Council Steering Committee and Mackenzie Health Council Steering Committee and Northern Interior Regional Health Board, Northern Representative to the Vancouver/Richmond Regional Health Board, Children’s & Women’s Hospital Board and Riverview Hospital Board, member of the Provincial HIB/AIDs advisory Council and the Provincial Health Policy Advisory Committee, Chair of the Mackenzie and District Library Board. Stephanie is also a former Chair of the Mackenzie and District Library Board, Resources North Association, Mackenzie Counselling Services, and the McLeod Lake/Mackenzie Community Forest. Stephanie is committed to the community and region and is well versed in environmental issues, working to strike a balance between conservation and economic development.
