Wayne Sawchuk is an eco-tourism guide, conservationist and writer living in northern BC. Wayne grew up as a logger, hunting guide, and sawmill worker. His interest in wilderness and wildlife prompted him to become involved in land use planning in northeast BC in the 1990’s. Wayne has played key roles in the creation, initiation, and long term management of the Muskwa-Kechika Management Area.
